When I was younger, I've always felt like guys will try to do certain things to keep a female in their life. I never had any solid proof, but I've always felt like men do it more than females but we're always getting called out on it. Sometimes you hear how some females go to great lengths to keep a man. Some of them try to poke holes in the condom, others lie about being on birth control and you have some that will use a turkey baster to take the semen out of the condom and put in their kitty kat. Granted, not all females do this, but there are some who do.
But what would a guy do to make sure he keep his woman? Well I found out that they will go through similar lengths that I listed above. A friend of mine informed me that she overheard two guys talking. One guy was expressing to his boy how he felt about a female who lived out of state and she was coming to visit him. He went on to say that he wanted her to move to the state where he resided but didn't know how to approach the subject. His boy told him in the most calm voice "get her pregnant when she comes to visit".
I couldn't believe what I heard! Are they serious! His answer to his boy was to get home girl pregnant so that she would move to where he lived. I personally thought that was a dumb ass idea b/c she could easily terminate the pregnancy if she decided that having a baby wasn't an option at that particular point in her life.
Stumbling onto this new revelation, I looked at guys in a totally different light. And it also made me re-analyze some of my past dealings with men. I'm sure it's something that us females don't think about. We may have seen him put that condom on, but while we're being pleasured he could easily switch positions and slide it off effortlessly in hopes of planting his seed. I know that after sex, I usually make a point to look at the 'johnson' to reassure myself that everything was in place.
Question:
Fellas, have you ever felt the need to go to certain lengths to get a girl to be in your life? If so, what were some of the things you did.
Ladies, have you felt like a guy went 'above and beyond' to try to keep you? If so, what was done to make sure you would be around longer?

This one guy I was with told me years later that he tried to get me knocked up, because he wanted to be bonded to me for life. I was absolutley floored when I heard this. Two things stopped his ass, one being that since we were both in college at the time he was afraid that I would move back home to raise the baby and we would never be a family.

Nope, men a guilty of it too. But they get away w/ it more b/c they can say it was an "accident". Or the "I thought u knew it broke". Or even, "u told me to do it" lol.
They want to be able 2 have that women in their life too. To be able to have tht lifetime connection, they'll go tht far.

wow, this is the first ive heard of such a thing. to be honest, (well in my circles) pregnancy is synonymous with death, you knock a chick up, and your done for LIFE. you will always have lil jr to worry about. So ive never heard of dudes purposely getting someone pregnant, but i dont doubt it. people do crazy things for love. (or lack there of)
men will do things to keep you around however, mostly using manipulation such as guilt trips, or some other mind game. my friend cheated on his girl friend one time and when she found out, he managed to convince her that she was in the wrong and during the next days she begged him to forgive HER. i know, crazy right?

lol @ pregnancy is synonymous w/ deatth lol. But for some reason, in the african american community, we associate pregnancy as a 'bad' thing.
I never really thght tht men do it either until I heard it then I recollected about a past lover and wht he actual tried to do.
You're right, manipulation is a muthf*cker and it's a damn shame tht ppl use it to get wht they want. But wht ur boy did was crzy!..yet somewhat clever. Homegirl should've stuck by her guns! lol.
I honestly believe my boyfriend is trying to get me pregnant. I told him I didn't love him anymore and didn't see "us" in my future. He didn't take it well and despite how I felt, I agreed to work on our relationship and try to reconnect with him. Well... after that conversation, he started coming inside of me every time we had sex!
Men are just as bad. I know a guy who wanted to get a girl pregnant because he was so love with her and thought she was the perfect woman.

We as women have to watch out for me. We get blamed for some real bs, but in all actuality, men are just as bad, even worse.

It makes me so damn frustrated b/c they are being so damn selfish b/c they're only doing it to try & keep the female in their life 4ever.
